Tessa Mathwig

Tessa Mathwig serves as a Remote Care Coordinator and a member of the Operations Support team at Lumen Eyecare. She is passionate about the impact of optometry, knowing that what we learn about eye health directly affects the everyday lives of the individuals and families we serve.

Tessa values being part of a practice that prioritizes patient care and team culture. She appreciates the environment created by Dr. Michael and Dr. Jenessa Lock, where genuine care and personal growth are encouraged for patients and staff. For her, it’s meaningful to be part of a team that works together to support one another while delivering high-quality care.

Outside of work, Tessa enjoys exploring new trails with her husband and their dog, traveling to visit family, and spending time with friends. You can often find her connecting with others over good food—especially donuts and matcha lattes.
