Chelsie Henkle

Chelsie Henkle is the Clinic Director at Lumen Eyecare, where she helps lead the team and ensure every patient experience is thoughtful and efficient. She is passionate about the eye care field because of the balance it offers, combining advanced technology, meaningful patient relationships, and the opportunity to help people look and feel their best through eyewear.

Chelsie values the strong team culture at Lumen Eyecare and takes pride in being part of an environment where collaboration, encouragement, and patient care are at the forefront. She enjoys working alongside a team that is dedicated to creating a welcoming, supportive experience for both patients and one another.

Outside of the office, Chelsie is actively involved in her community. She serves as the vice president of the board of directors for Gateway Church in Des Moines and volunteers with her children’s baseball leagues. She has been married to her husband, Ryan, for 12 years, and together they have two sons and a Boston Terrier.

In her free time, Chelsie enjoys art, caring for plants, and spending time outdoors. She also loves learning about her children’s interests, whether that’s Star Wars, dinosaurs, or whatever they’re currently passionate about.
